Five students from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) have won the II National Cyber League, a cybersecurity and homeland security competition organized by the Guardia Civil to highlight university talent.
Once again, the “Institut Polytechnique de Paris” has organized the competitive programming competition involving all the educational institutions of the countries located in southwestern Europe, the SWERC. The competition will take place on March 6 and 7, 2021 and venues have been authorized in each of the participating countries to avoid travel.
The final was held this past Friday at the Banco Santander facilities in Madrid and was attended by 50 people selected from more than 360 from all over Spain.
Doctoral students Juan David Quintana and Sergio Pérez Peló have been awarded for their work at the XVIII Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA).
The activity, organized by the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering (ETSII), is oriented towards a discipline where several teams compete to solve the greatest number of programming problems in the shortest possible time.
