Nicolás Rodríguez Uribe will defend his Doctoral Thesis entitled, ‘Heuristic and metaheuristic techniques applied to the facility layout problem’.
On June 29th at 11:00 a.m., Nicolás Rodríguez Uribe will defend his Doctoral Thesis entitled: “Heuristic and metaheuristic techniques applied to the problem of facility layout”. This Doctoral Thesis has been supervised by D. José Manuel Colmenar Verdugo and D. Alberto Herrán González. The tribunal of this thesis will be composed by: D. José Ignacio Hidalgo Pérez, Dª Ana Dolores López Sánchez and D. Jesús Sánchez-Oro Calvo.

Isaac Lozano graduated with a double degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where he was awarded the prize for the Best Final Project. Subsequently, he completed a Master in Artificial Intelligence Research (UIMP). His main research interests are focused on the interface between Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research. Most of his publications deal with the development of metaheuristic procedures for graph modeled optimization problems.
