The XVI Spanish Congress of Metaheuristics, Evolutionary Algorithms and Bioinspired Methods (MAEB), aims to be a forum for gathering, discussion and transfer of knowledge between researchers in the field of metaheuristics and bioinspired algorithms.

The congress will be a 3-day event (from the 28th to the 30th of May 2025) and it will be taking place in the building Carlos Santamaría in the UPV/EHU campus in Donostia/San Sebastián. There, organized in parallel talks, presentations of the articles will take place during morning and afternoon. Each day will have an invited keynote lecture. Between lectures there will be coffe breaks and lucnh at noon. The event will feature a reception, a gala dinner as well as a social activity.
