Antonio Gonzalez is a Lecturer at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in 2014. His main research interests are related to Computational Intelligence (genetic algorithms, PSO, SWARM intelligence, etc), Metaheuristics, and Machine Learning Techniques. The application domains for his research are Social Networks, Complex Graph-based problems and Optimisation problems. His current research focused on understanding complex networks, like the ones emerging from social media environments, particularly in the context of crisis situations caused by radical organisations.
